INSURANCE & RISK MANAGEMENT
Alessan Assurance Group is the developing insurance and protection practice within the AFG brand.
Start a conversation ↗PLANNED CAPABILITIES
The practice is being developed around the needs of business owners, families and enterprises, with access through approved insurance relationships.
Protection and liquidity for families, business owners and long-term legacy objectives.
Key-person, buy-sell and succession-related protection for closely held enterprises.
Income protection and planning for the financial impact of disability and extended care.
Appropriate insurance-based retirement and income options through approved providers.
Selected life and health-related group and executive benefit solutions.
Planned access to lender-funded life insurance premiums for qualifying clients. Loan costs, collateral and policy performance require careful evaluation.
RISK MANAGEMENT
Identify the exposure, consider the financial impact, and evaluate appropriate insurance or risk-transfer responses. Coordinate estate and succession objectives with the client’s legal and tax advisers.
Insurance services will begin after the required producer and agency authority, carrier arrangements and onboarding are active. Product availability will depend on the approved providers and the client’s circumstances.
BUSINESS OWNERS & FAMILIES
A business may create value over decades while still depending on one person, one income stream or one ownership agreement. The planned AAG approach considers the financial consequences of those dependencies before selecting insurance.
Consider the family’s dependence on earnings and the impact of death, disability or long-term care needs.
Examine key-person exposure, continuity funding and buy-sell objectives.
Coordinate policy objectives with estate, succession and legacy plans prepared by qualified advisers.

A CONSIDERED PROCESS
The planned practice begins with needs, existing coverage and financial capacity. Policy design, costs, exclusions and ongoing commitments should be explained clearly before implementation.
