CORPORATE & PROJECT FINANCE
Advisory preparation and selected financing arrangements for operating companies, developers and project sponsors.
Start a conversation ↗THE WORK
Large projects require a coherent financial story, an executable delivery plan and evidence that can withstand detailed review.
Sources and uses, project budgets, cash-flow models, debt schedules and supporting documentation.
Evaluate facility sequencing, repayment profiles, security, covenants and the interaction of multiple financing needs.
Review site control, budgets, delivery milestones, permits and the proposed financing timetable.
Prepare corporate and asset acquisition requests, refinancing plans and recapitalization analysis.
Identify fragile assumptions, operational exposures, financing dependencies and downside scenarios.
Identify suitable counterparties and coordinate information, diligence and financing discussions within the agreed role.
MANDATE FIT
Requests may range from substantial corporate facilities to $500 million-plus project mandates, including proposals into the billions. Larger requests are evaluated individually for evidence, counterparties and a credible execution route.
AFG can analyze a project’s full funding requirements. Any securities placement or equity fundraising must be handled through an appropriately registered firm under an approved arrangement. AFG does not independently offer securities.

PROJECT PREPARATION
Project finance work connects the construction or delivery plan to the operating model. Capital availability, sponsor contribution, revenue timing and completion dependencies must be considered together.
AFG evaluates sources and uses, phased requirements, sponsor readiness, contracts, delivery assumptions and the proposed financing sequence.
INSTITUTIONAL PACKAGE
A coherent package gives institutions a basis to examine the opportunity, challenge the assumptions and identify the work still required.
Ownership, management, operating history, decision authority and sponsor contribution.
Historical results, projections, sources and uses, debt service and scenario analysis.
Site control where relevant, project budgets, permits, contracts, procurement and completion schedule.
Asset descriptions, ownership, existing liens and the proposed security structure.
Customer demand, relevant contracts, revenue assumptions and concentration risks.
Diligence responsibilities, outstanding conditions, institutional questions and next-step coordination.
